The ACURITE 02020 – Is a compact, lightweight thunderstorm detector that’s easy to take with you wherever you go. Simple to use, it provides clear and accurate information about the risks posed by lightning strikes in
your immediate surroundings.
This warning device measures two physical parameters: radio frequency and electromagnetic energy generated by lightning; its detection range extends up to 40 km (25 miles).
This small device features a FRANKLIN AS3935 integrated circuit that enables highly accurate detection with over 99% repeatability, providing the user with early warning of thunderstorm risks and allowing them to take proactive measures to protect themselves.
The user is alerted via three available functions: a flashing red indicator light, an audible alarm, and a large, easy-to-read text display showing the estimated distance and the number of detections.
